The penthouse model provides an elevated living space for a larger flock of up to eight standard chickens or fifteen bantams. Raised off the ground, this design protects the birds from damp soil and provides a shaded area underneath the coop. The structure is made from recycled plastic, ensuring it remains weather-resistant for many years.
Inside, the coop includes two rounded perches where hens can roost comfortably at night. Two dedicated nesting boxes are attached to the side, allowing for easy egg collection from the exterior. A sturdy ladder is included to help the birds access the elevated entrance safely and easily throughout the day as they move around.
Cleaning is simplified by the removable roof and smooth interior walls, which can be hosed down quickly. The plastic material is specifically chosen for its durability and its ability to resist the buildup of bacteria or parasites. This large-scale housing solution is ideal for those looking for a permanent, high-capacity poultry home for their birds.
